(September 26, 2015) ... An Argentine red blend featuring their hallmark grape (Malbec) plus Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. At eight years of age the wine has gone tertiary, shedding fruit for leather, mild pepperiness and a long smoky-anise-mocha finish; the fruit that does exist comes across as dried blackberry, but very little of that is even present. If lack of fruit is not an issue than the Senetiner Nicanor should be at the top of your list.
