Gamay is known to be pretty simplistic at times and I would have to say this Huff version certainly delivers on simplicity, but also on delicious flavour. The nose is a little odd, but that could be due to limited time in bottle at time of tasting – the palate sings with sweet cherry fruit that zips and zings across the tongue.
