For some reason this wine was not given its VQA designation but for the life of me I can’t tell you why, it’s a delicious version of Pinot with great character, like earthy notes, black cherry, hints of cranberry and strawberry with cocoa, coffee and cherry on the finish. My only complaint would be the plastic cork, which means drink up without the next 2 years. Drink and enjoy now thru 2015 latest. Price: $16.00 – Rating: *** ½+
