Mix of French and American oak (with 1/3 new French) and 22 months of barrel age has rounded out the fruit and mouthfeel. Aromas include chocolate, black raspberry, mocha and blackberry … tastes are varied and seem to keep coming with each sip: blackberry, cassis, vanilla bean, sweet dark fruit, white pepper, red raspberry … the list goes on.
