What we are drwn to always surprises me ... I love the name of this winery, but I wouldn't be so enthralled with it if the wine wasn't good, and here Paul Gallagher is living up to his name. He isn't sporting horns or anything like that, but he is living up to the potential. The wine is aged in new oak for 8 months, then is neutral oak for another 4 ... the result is a wine full of smoky, black cherry with a juicy mid-palate and dry cran-cherry finish.
