The wine is named "Alien Harvest" because the fruit does not come from their high density planted vineyard of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay - instead it comes from the AJ Lepp property in Niagara. Fermented in stainless steel then separated into tank and 2 barrels for a full year. The result is a slightly grapefruited and green apple nose that gives way to exotic flavours on the palate .. the wine is well-integrated with the wood so all you get is fruit.
