The Calamus style of Riesling seems o tlieave a little sweetness behind ... this 2011 seems ot have a little more than the usual. The nose kicks in with lemon pulp, lime peel, tropical fruits and apple notes. The taste has delicious apple with a hint of green apple that's where you'll find the touch of acidity that keeps the wine from appearing too sweet.
