One of the Lake Erie North Shore’s newest wineires who have decided to use odd varieties, like Regent, also shows off what they can do with something more widely known, like Riesling. The nose screams full on lemon up the olfactories; the palate whacks you with acidity in the form of lemon zest and limeade with mineral undertones and a big green apple finish … pretty good stuff from mere 16 month old vines.
