Remember the movie Meatballs? Remember the theme song? "Are you ready for the summer? Are you ready for the good times?" Well, after tasting this wine, I was asking myself those very same questions. The combination of the fruity Gamay paired with the spicy, pepper driven Zweigelt makes an appealing blend that has the best of both worlds. A wine that can easily be chilled for enjoyment on the patio, kept at room temperature for a backyard barbecue or one to be sipped and savored on its own anytime. Smells of black and blue berries, along with sweet red cherries are followed in the mouth with a culmination of fruit and spice that'll have you dipping back into the well (your glass) time and time again. This wine’ll be long gone before you get a chance to get a base tan or finish half your steak. Take my advice and buy a few.
