Westcott 2012 Pinot Noir, Estate
This Pinot Noir from the 2012 vintage spent 24 months in three-quarters new French oak … a full year longer than their Chardonnay. Aromas of black cherry, black currant and floral – nice tannin structure on the palate, a touch woodsy, with dark fruit and good acidity; this is quite a robust Pinot Noir at this time. Price: $30.00 – Rating: *** ½+
