So far the ‘13s from Marynissen have not been too impressive to me, maybe they need time to resolve themselves in bottle, as has been suggested to me – I sure hope so. One that hits the mark right now is this 2013 Merlot. There’s a nice juicy flavour of cherry with blueberry juice and a sour raspberry finish.
