This is a case of the nose defining the wine you think you are going to taste and yet … Aromas are rich and buttery with baked apple and spiced pineapple; but the palate is full of light apple, pear nuances along with, oak and a touch of spice … Here’s hoping the nose is a preview of what’s to come – but for now it’s better than the taste, which is still quite good, but has much to live up to with those aromas.  Price: $28.00 – Rating: *** ½
