Marquis vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake this is Magnotta’s off-shoot winery … Aromas follow a fairly typical Chardonnay regime with buttery-vanilla, apple cobbler and hints of caramel – palate has good flavour with a little spice getting everywhere on this one, especially when it plays off those peach notes – there’s also nice length on the finish.
