Not sure if I was just dreaming of Chinese food when I was tasting this wine or maybe thinking what it might pair with – but aromas were reminiscent of sweet and sour chicken sauce all with a squeeze of lemon (odd I know) – but this 4-years on lees Pinot Noir-based bubbly was a true delight on the palate: lovely creamy mouthfeel with lime meringue, raspberry and strawberry. KEW is really making a name for themselves with their line-up of affordable bubblies and this one to me tops that list … paired with or without the Chinese food. Price: $29.95 – Rating: ****+
