Here’s a rarity for Ontario – and that’s a shame, but then again that’s Mother Nature for you … it’s an amber coloured liquid with lush, viscous texture in the mouth … nose doles out caramel, apricot, peach and floral notes while the palate is full of sweet toffee, peach, pear and apricot – sadly it’s a short finish, otherwise it would be close to perfect for dessert, but that just means you’ll have to have a sip again sooner.  Price: $49.00 / 375ml - Rating: ****+
