There’s a hint of a coppery colour here that is always welcome to see on a Pinot Gris (Grigio). Peach and lemon zest with mac apple and lovely acidity … there’s also a slightly bitter finish here, but it does help to carry the fruit, so it works.  Price: $14.95 – Rating: *** ½+
