A very limited 4-barrel (100-case) Pinot Gris that spent 8 months in 3rd use barrels … but here the usual delicate Pinot Gris grape took to its wood home and developed a nice mouth-presence worth talking about. Fruit is in the smoked apple / pear vein while adding vanilla cream into that mix along with some smoky character on the finish – there’s also nice depth to this wine, especially for the usually bland and boring Pinot Gris grape.  Price: $22.00 – Rating: ****
