You may have heard me mention a particular award winning Huff Pinot Noir made from Tawse fruit … well this is the flipside of that trade – the Tawse-made Huff-sourced Chardonnay; it should rightly be called “Reciprocal Chardonnay” (but it was not). Delicate fruit of apple, peach and pear with hints of vanilla and spice, good acidity and some tell-tale County mineral notes along with some melon rind on the finish – it’s a little austere at this time, but still very good.
