A wine named in honour of Gary Pillitteri who achieved the title of Commander of the Star of Solidarity by the Italian government. This blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon is a real mouth-filling affair and it’s pretty from nose to palate to finish. Aged a full 26 months in all French (60% new) oak. It’s fruity with loads of plum, black cherry and raspberry plus the addition of vanilla and cinnamon on the finish.
