Look, you’re not gonna change my mind about Pinot Gris being one of the most boring grape varieties in the world – but sometimes it comes through in interesting ways: this dessert style is not overly sweet, it’s a well-balanced affair with guava, pear, tropical fruit and a dollop of honey with a long finish and an interesting spiciness amongst its linger. Something interesting in a must try style Pinot Gris; and from me that’s high praise indeed. Price: $24.95 / 500ml – Rating: ****
