When you only make 3 wines from only 2 grapes, they’d better be good and Honsberger’s winemaker, Kelly Mason, continues to impress with her adept ways of making Cabernet Franc.  Aromas of tobacco, black currant, coffee and white pepper lead to a palate of mocha, black cherry, cassis, red peppercorns and a long finish of gentle spice and cherry-tobacco.
