Pinot Noir can be a real pain-in-the-you-know-what, which is why 16 Mile has named their top end “Incivility” (and their entry level “Rebel”); but when you get a good handle on the grape the results can be dreamy: cran-raspberry and sour cherry on both the nose and palate, with silky tannins, white pepper and a long finish; with its great tannin structure this baby is as food-friendly as one could hope for – it’s delicate and delicious.
