This ’13 Cabernet-Merlot has some real appeal, first off it’s smooth on the palate – it seems to add the right layer at the right time: black cherry, cassis and mocha all come before a slight bit of spice on the finish. Well made, good structure, and pleasant lingering finish – what more could you want.  Price: $17.50 - Rating: ****
