Grapes for this wine are dried for 5 weeks then remain 2 years in barrel and develop 14.9% alcohol (so beware). It’s fruit forward with plummy and cherry fruit, brewed coffee and hints of sweet mocha – 2013 is a good year for this process in Ontario and thus makes for a better wine from an average vintage.  Price: $44.95 - Rating: *** ½+
