This is the 8th vintage of Red Paw Gris, one of owner Jeff Aubry’s favourite summertime wine made at his winery. To me it’s Pinot Gris, but elevated: aromas are peach pit and melon rind with hints of ash; palate shows a rich mouthful with some orange zest backing. Price: $15.95 – Rating: *** ½+
