2012 was the year for Cabernet Sauvignon in Ontario, I find myself continually impressed with the varietal wines hitting shelves using this grape. Another beauty is this blackberry, cassis, chocolate, smoke and vanilla laced version from Ravine. What really makes this one special is the finish, where white pepper and cocoa collide with loads of dark fruit and spice - it's a real beauty. Price: $35.00 - Rating: **** ½
