An interesting all-County Pinot that seems to want to be anything but Pinot. Aromas are, I swear to goodness, candy apple and cherry dominant; palate shows off sweet cranberry, cherry and some chalky-mineral notes. This wine spent under a year in oak, (½ new) - it starts off sweet fruited in the mouth but ends with a definite dryness. Price: $25.00 - Rating: ****
