Let’s call this a poor man’s Amarone (on price alone) as the grapes are dried in much the same way, losing 40% of their water, but it’s not as overtly rich as you would expect, there’s a nice blueberry, raspberry flavour with a delicate spice and lovely balancing acidity; it even shows a nice elegance without being heavy.
