Hard to recommend a wine at this price point, but hell it sure is tasty: aromas of dark fruit, licorice and spice … but there’s also an alcohol note that seems to permeate; palate is silky smooth with black and Byng cherries along with some smoked vanilla notes.   Price: $165.99 – Rating: *** ½
