2015 marked 30 years for Sacred Hill and those 30 years have really paid off. It’s allowed them to do trial and error yeast experiments on their wines – and today they believe they have the right one to give them exactly what they’re looking for in their Savvy B: which is great mouthfeel with no lees contact. I think they’ve got it too. Nose is floral, tropical, melon and grapefruit while those aromas follow onto the palate adding minerality and length to spare. Price: $18.95 – Rating: ****
