This Stellenbosch Cabernet is aged 16 months in a mix of new (20%), 2nd fill (43%) and 3rd fill French oak barrels, which allows the fruit to really shine without taking on too much oak. Blackberry, spiced red berries including strawberry and raspberry with cassis, leather, black cherry and spice ending this one off quite nicely.  Price: $19.95 – Rating: ****
