Aromas of dark berries and spearmint lead things off: palate goes soft and silky but retains tons of fruit: blackberry and black cherry along with chocolate and white pepper. There’s lingering tannins and a gripping finish, but that does not detract from the wine one bit, in fact it adds to the enjoyment and potential longevity of it.  Price: $20.89 – Rating: ****
