It’s what I expect from Gewurzt: floral, soapy and spicy – everything else is a frill that either adds or detracts from the wine: here there’s a lovely spiced mandarin orange note that lingers and a powerful mouth presence that adds to the enjoyment. There’s just something about British Columbia Gewürztraminer that’s really appealing.  Price: $22.90 - Rating: ****
