This is a 100% Syrah from the Limari Valley; it’s got big fruit and gentle smoky aromas but with balancing cool climate acidity and some pretty meaty notes on the mid-palate.  The finish truly makes this wine, combining black raspberry, cherry and pepper. WOW.  Price: $46.95 – Rating: ****+
