This wine shows a lot of power, but it also shows quite a bit of fruit and can sit on the cellar shelf for a decade or more: black fruit, including black cherry, plus mocha and raspberry – it’s smoky and brooding just waiting for a decanter or time to pass.  Rating: ****+
