Stunning … so stunning in fact the Pope chose the wine to drink on his flight around the world.  This Greco is picked at three different times (September, October and November) and is fermented using three different yeasts all kept separate then blended together to add depth and layering of acidity and ripe fruit; it’s one of those wines I could have sipped on all day.  Simple aromas of floral, apple and pear as the palate follows suit adding just the right amount of lime zest to the finish … fruit forward and delicious.  Rating: ****+
