While considered the lesser vintage (compared to the 2012) my personal opinion really comes into play here and I believe the ’11 shows more elegance with a suppleness that betrays the 4-star rating the vintage received from the powers that be… good acidity and supple tannins with a mix of raspberry and tobacco on the mid-palate. Nice and approachable with ageability to spare.  Rating: ****+
