Taurasi is Aglianico from the small compartmentalized area around the town of Taurasi; this version sees 18 months of oak barrels before going into bottle – it’s big and weighty with lots of spice and black fruit finishing with sour cherry, mocha, anise and some mineral notes.  Rating: ****
