Made from 100 % Piedirosso grapes (red) grown 300m above sea level in the volcanic soils of Mt. Vesuvius – all stainless steel aged and fermented. It has developed an onion skin-like colour with vibrant acidity, raspberry, lime and mineral notes plus a lovely dry finish.  Rating: *** ½+
