(March 23, 2022) ... The welcome dinner in Montepulciano is dedicated to Nobile and all the interesting (and back vintage) wines offered up for tasting during the meal. In the past, it has been a buffet that has local meats, cheeses and hot dishes ... It has been a highlight of the Nobile Anteprime welcome dinner for a long time. This year, due to pandemic protocols, the buffet was out; and chef Gaetano Truvato (two Michelin stars) was in; and what a delicious dinner he prepared. There were times you wished for more:

1- Turbo, Almond, Asparagus

2- Parppardella stuffed with Valdarno Guinea Fowl, Turnip tops

3- Chianina IGP, Braised Red Onion, Topinambur

4- Zuccotto, Chocolate Copper Zabaiona, Vin Santo
