Ontario Reviews

Rosewood Estates 2011 Semillon
Natalie Spytkowsky has found her darling in the vineyard ... each and every year she dabbles with what many would not consider a grape for Ontario's climate, and yet each year she proves them wrong by coaxing out a delicious wine from the grapes she is given. This year's edition is no different. The nose has aromas of honey, peach and pear, while the palate seems to follow right along, and then adds a little floral, especially to the honey. If you have never tried one of Natalie's Sems I suggest you put your hands on this one, cause it's a good place to start to get to know this grape in Natalie's hands. Price: $18.00 - Rating: ****
