I find the Black Paw Chardonnay to be the deeper, richer version of Chardonnay in the Coyote's Run Black Paw/Red Paw lexicon, this vintage. This year the colour is deeper and darker than its Red Paw Counterpart as well and the aromas and flavours are spicier with a weighted creaminess on the palate. This is definitely the more masculine of the two wines and a better pairing with food such as salmon. Price: $21.95 - Rating: ****+
