This has been a staple wine in my house the last few years – a real mineral driven, high acidity affair; but this 2014 let me down a tad. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a good wine, but when you have the past to look back upon it make it more difficult. Talc-mineral and pear aromas; palate comes off a touch sweeter and the acidity more subdued with plenty of peach pit … I’m hoping it comes around but as of tasting it’s closed and just misses the mark of previous vintages.
