This wine shows a lot of heart and a lot of oomph from first sniff to last sip - because in-between it flexes some interesting muscles: tannins show themselves on the front, back and onto the finish interweaving smoked cherry, blackberry, cassis and cinnamon, not on every sip but mixing things up on alternate tastes … there’s also a long spicy finish.
