Henry of Pelham 2017 Baco Noir, Old Vines

Potentially my favourite of all the levels of Henry’s Baco’s made – but still that’s a low bar when it comes to Baco in my book (ha ha) … here we get silky smoothness, cocoa, black cherry, smoky and spicy notes on both the nose and palate … the Old Vines moniker is put on 20+ year old plants and the whole thing is aged 12 months in 100% American oak.  Price: $19.95 – Rating: ****
