I have previously mentioned an affinity for wineries getting into Gamay, and Leaning Post got their feet wet early with Gamay, realizing it’s a true staple here in Ontario – this 2017 shows their love for the grape continues: at first it’s all cherry and delicate spice but then there are also hints of raspberry and strawberry that interlace their way through culminating with a pop of floral - good acidity, great flavor, rich, ripe and delicious – another beauty Gamay from Leaning Post.  Price: $25.00 – Rating: ****+
