The 2015 was good, the 2016 might be a tad better; spending 12 months in 2-3 year old neutral French oak … there’s a slight burnt butter note, but there’s also a nice minerality, some peach cobbler, spiced apple and a toasty-ness that adds depth of character and some additional complexity … the medium length finish has you craving another sip soon after the first, second, third, fourth, etc. Price: $19.95 – Rating: ****
