Leaning Post 2017 Pinot Noir, Senchuck Vineyard

These young homegrown vines are pulling some great stuff out of the ground, giving them depth and complexity beyond their years: earthy, cranberry and rhubarb kick things off on the nose; spicy-rhubarb, spiced-cherry and peppered-cranberry on the palate while hints of cedar sit on background. There are also some pretty violet notes that swing in and out with lovely balancing acidity. Another delicious bottle of Senchuck Pinot; for those who tried or bought the 2016, if you are expecting another 2016 this is not that, but it certainly will not disappoint Pinot Noir fans.  Price: $65.00 – Rating: ****+
