Domaine Queylus 2016 Pinot Noir, Signature

Surprisingly light and delicate, on both the nose and palate, considering the hot vintage in which it was grown ... even the color is see-through. Light cranberry on both the nose and palate, plus those typical Pinot earthy and floral (violets) note plus some intriguing spice ... Acidity is on-point, which allows this to be a really “pretty” Pinot from such a ballbuster vintage. Shows a real deft hand with this grape.  Price: $28.56 - Rating: ****
