Ontario Reviews

Good Earth 2017 Merlot, The Good Wine

Merlot is such a crap shoot in Ontario, first you need to know what you're looking for and they all seems to need a few years under their belt after bottling. This one is pseudo-juicy with notes of red and blue fruit, a little pepper, hints of floral and even some raspberry, blueberry and smoke on the finish. The acidity is quite punchy helping to add depth and freshness; but it definitely. This Merlot delivers the enjoyment factor. (Drink now and over the next 5 years). Price: $34.95 - Rating: ****
